The conference will seek to identify the key components behind the reform of the Moroccan developmental model and its applicability to the region. It will draw upon top experts and practitioners from the business, academic, and policy making for better communities to illuminate the macro-economic, governance, foreign policy, banking, legal, cultural, and institutional contributors to the Moroccan model. The aim will be to generate actionable policy recommendations for Morocco and Morocco’s neighbors.
The conference is organized by the UC Berkeley Program on Entrepreneurship and Development in conjunction with Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, with the support of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy , Morocco. It will bring together some of the most prominent Moroccan entrepreneurs and experts, as well as leaders and entrepreneurs from the United States and the MENA region. Both Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane and UC Berkeley Program on Entrepreneurship and Development are known International players in the field of Education for innovation and the promotion of Entrepreneurship respectively.
